ABOUT THE ROLE
With a fantastic opportunity available, we are looking for a highly motivated team member to join our new branch in Madrid. The successful candidate will have had, 2-3 years’ experience in Ocean Operations (some experience with Air Operations is valued), a taste of customer service and operations in ocean freight and is now looking for an opportunity to join a truly global supply chain business that will tailor a development path for success whilst proudly representing the Mainfreight brand and culture that we are so proud of!

DUTIES & RESPONSBILITIES
Based in our Madrid branch, this role is all about providing outstanding customer service and operational support to our customers. Your focus will be to take control of both import and export shipments from the time a shipment is confirmed to final delivery and everything in between including; liaising with our overseas Mainfreight branches, shipping lines, customers, all with service at the front of mind.

Previous operations experience, although not required

What is the working culture like?

We are a very flat structured organisation. We have open plan offices and management sit in amongst the team. We do not use the “s” word (staff) and refer to everyone as Team – everyone has a part to play in moving Mainfreight forward and meeting our targets and goals.

We believe in working hard but we also have fun and a laugh while we do it. Our team is empowered to make decisions and have a say in how we do things.
