Import Coordinator - Air & Ocean, Regency Park SA

ABOUT THE ROLE
Mainfreight Air and Ocean Adelaide is looking for an Imports Coordinator. Working alongside our Licensed Customs Brokers, this role manages import sea freight shipments to gain a clear status for goods entry into Australia, then delivery to our customers. This role is full time and based on site at our Gallipoli Drive facility.

Key Responsibilities/ Job requirements:

• Support licensed customs brokers in preparing and submitting accurate and complete documentation.
• Proactively Track shipments.
• Attention to detail, data integrity and focus on procedures and customer requirements. 
• Must provide excellent customer service.
• Require both written and verbal skills.
• Verify and review shipment documents, including commercial invoices, bills of lading and certificates of origin.
• Coordinate with Customs Broker and customers to gather necessary information for customs clearance.
• Compile shipments accurately in CargoWise in preparation for Customs Broker.
• Utilise customs software (ICS) to search for and create supplier CCID, producer codes, manifest search etc.
• Resolve issues and inquiries from customers promptly and efficiently.
• Coordinate DAFF (Quarantine) inspections with the department via online portal.
• Coordinate cartage requirements for delivery to customer.
• Manage customer rates and invoicing.
• Meeting KPI requirements.
• Work in a team environment. 
• Contribute to fortnightly team meetings. 
• Further progression to becoming a licenced Customs Broker is not required, however can be supported in house for right candidate. 

The successful candidate will have the right attitude and driven to deliver the very best service to our customers, going above and beyond. Its not essential to have industry experience, however a demonstration of strong work ethic is required.
