The Tacoma Warehousing team is looking for a motivated and determined individual to take the next step in their career and embrace a new challenge in the role of Customer Development Executive.

The Tacoma Customer Development Executive will be responsible for managing performance metrics, continuous improvements, and operational alignment for multiple nation-wide customers across multiple warehousing sites, implementing and developing operations for new customers, as well as building on the operations and efficiencies of already existing customers within the Tacoma branch.

Your focus will be service excellence, service quality and maintaining collaborative relationships with our customers. We are an extension of their business and need to provide service excellence every minute of every day. Growth of existing business is as integral as new business.

The successful applicant will need the following:

• A strong work ethic and a capacity to learn a multitude of skills
• An understanding of the full supply chain
• A strong understanding of warehousing operations and familiarity with MIMS
• Very strong communication skills
• The ability to generate and manage customer specific KPIs, both internally and customer facing
• Use these KPIs to improve service and profitability
• Provide support to Account Champions to drive continuous improvement with customer specific operations
• Share data and information across internal stakeholders and external customers
• The ability to be proactive and take initiative where needed
• Attention to detail
• Innovative thinking
• Not only grow the warehousing business but engage to ensure customers are utilizing all of our services
