Location Overview
Mainfreight Logistic Services Zaltbommel opened its doors at the end of 2018. This facility has a total size of 52,000 sqm. This warehouse also offers space for the storage of hazardous goods (ADR Limited Quality), such as among others storage for aerosols and flammable liquids.
Out of this BREEAM Very Good warehouse, a wide range of services are provided: next to best-in-class storage and order picking processes, various value-adding activities are performed, such as the execution of multi-packs and display building. A large part of the co-packing services are performed by team members with a distance to the labor market, evidencing the extensive social responsibility of Mainfreight.
Strategic location
The distribution center is located on the De Wildeman business park, which is part of the Logistic Hotspot Rivierenland. Its strategic location, situated next to the motor highway A2, gives us the opportunity to improve service levels for customers and to provide extensive end–to-end European distribution services.
