Import Perishable Operator - Mainfreight Air and Ocean, Banksmeadow

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Perishable Import team are responsible for managing and assisting with Customs and Quarantine clearance of temperature controlled perishable cargo. This fantastic opportunity is for anyone seeking to enter the Perishable division. 

Duties & Responsibilities 

• Assisting with Import Cargo and Documentation
• Registering jobs, lodging Air Cargo and Underbonds 
• Develop strong relationships with customers.
• Create alliances with stakeholders such, Airlines, Transport Co, Government Dept, etc 
• Scheduling Biosecurity Inspection for Perishable cargo
• Work alongside with Australian Border Force and Biosecurity Dept
• Working internally within our branch and with other branches and create innovative solutions for our national customers.
• Handling Temperature controlled cargo 
• Support Branch (and Team) KPI’s
• Rotated Weekend Shift work
• Ad hoc duties as required by your manager.

Previous Air & Ocean experience is not necessary. We will provide full support and training required to succeed.
